An attemp with Corel Painter.

Vediamo chi riconosce l’ometto raffigurato.

Dopo aver passato quattro giorni a fare l’ameba nel letto supermegacoccolata da fidanzato e micia sono finalmente riuscita a sedermi davanti al pc per produrre qualcosa. Non ho ripreso il web design che stavo facendo e nemmeno la prova alla RyanChurch, ho voluto provare questo stile per un omaggio.

Io e il mio moroso ci siamo presi bene con un serial: Dexter. Avete presente? Ecco.. non troviamo l’ultima puntata perciò se qualcuno riesce a consigliarmi dove pescarla tutta intera ci farebbe un gran favore perchè siamo col fiato sospeso essendo l’ultima della prima serie. / Edit: trovata!

I record myself during the colorization of “Kiria Uzi” (the gamertag’s mascotte with a gun) with Camtasia Studio4.
I like watch speedpainting on Youtube so I tried for the second time to realize a video tutorial.

Softwares used:

• Manga Studio EX (sketches and ink lineart),
• Phothoshop CS3 (colors)
• and Corel Painter X (special effects).

Ho registrato me stessa durante la colorazione di “Kiria Uzi” (la mascotte di gamertag con la pistolona) usando Camtasia Studio4. Mi piace parecchio guardare gli speedpainting su Youtube allora ho provato per la seconda volta a realizzare un video tutorial.
I programmi utilizzati sono: Mangastudio EX (schizzi e china), Photoshop CS3 (colori) e Painter X (effetti speciali).

I’m working on a “mascotte project” for a new website : Gamertag.
The girl is named Kiria and she’s dressed with a playstation joypad. Next post I’ll submit the sequence of colorization and the video capture!

Nelshael.com changes its design and contents. From today it will be no longer the webcomic’s website rather than the personal portfolio of Ophelia. I will talk no more only about the comic’s development and related topics but about my work and my passion.
I need to do this hard change because Eleish doesn’t find the time and the inspiration to end the webcomic and I can’t draw only about that.
I know a lot of you will be disappointed but I hope somebody will be faithfull and follow my creative path. I hope to add new readers, I’d like to have an exchange of ideas with you so I will try to submit speedpaintings, tutorials and vector freebies.

E’ con una discreta coda fra le gambe che annuncio a chi mi conosce che quest’anno mi esenterò dal fare regalini di Natale.
A differenza di molte persone che hanno alti valori morali e condannano il consumismo di questa festa io mi giustifico dando tutta le colpa alla legge Biagi che mi costringe a questa prolungata ansia del mese dopo chiamata flessibilità lavorativa.

1 Draw a Baloon with the Brush tool
2 Edit > Save Pattern ad a Word Balolon
3 Use the Balloon saved into the Material Folder.
4 Add text
