Nelsheal is a fantasy story and an original comic, a project born in 1995 from the artistic group Dardanidi.
Started as a work to participate to the Tokimeki competition we decided to be inspired by a dream to write a fantasy story and a comic strip.
Our virtual senseis have always been mainly japanese because mangas published in Italy in that period were our source of graphical inspiration and at the same time teachers of anatomy! Some of these are: Clamp, Katsura, Hagiwara, Takada, Nobuteru Yuki, Miyazaki. Among the Italians: Eva Villa, Vinci and Toffolo; and, among the world famous, O’ Barr (the crow), Hewlett (tankgirl), W.Pini (elfquest) and Moebius.
Our fantasy inspiration came from several rather popular literary sources like Tolkien, Zimmer Bradley, Dragonlance.
The website www.nelshael.it was born in 2002 in the attempt of publishing our works but we decided to completely remake it in order to renew it.

–[ what software do you use to make your CG’s? ]–

I use Deleter Comicworks for the lineart and the comic because it has about 300 screentones!! For the illustrations I use Corel Painter, Opencanvas and Photoshop.
I don’t use a mouse but only my precious wacom intuos3 a4 tablet - in other words, a giant super awesome tablet. You can see a picture in my author-ID.

if there’s one thing I can’t handle it’s when I go to the link section of a website and there are too much banners. I try to limit the links to the websites that I feel are the most inspiring and important to me. however, if you want me to check out your site, feel free to notify me about it, no problem!
